Who We Are

Our Story, Mission
& Vision

The NexGen Leaders Foundation (NGL) is a non-profit company led by young professionals and emerging leaders committed to empowering youth in the Southern Suburbs.

How It Started

Built on a Simple Observation

NexGen Leaders Foundation began with a simple but powerful realization: there is an abundance of talent in local schools, but a shortage of guidance needed to unlock it.

In early 2026, the foundation was established by Amber Dreyer and Michai Mentor. They saw recurring gaps in the Southern Suburbs, where ambitious students had potential but not always a clear roadmap into higher education and professional opportunities.

What started as a shared vision for getting the underprivileged educated evolved into a structured movement that pairs mentorship, leadership development, and community support for students who need it most.

Governance

How We Stay Accountable

Trust matters. We report outcomes, track participant progress, and regularly review programs with mentors, partners, and alumni to improve quality year after year.

๐Ÿ“Š

Impact Measurement

We monitor completion, retention, and post-program outcomes to ensure our work leads to tangible progress.

๐Ÿงพ

Financial Transparency

We keep clear records and apply responsible governance across all operations and partnerships.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Safeguarding Standards

Our team and mentors follow safeguarding and conduct standards designed to protect participants.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

๐ŸŽฏ

Purpose

We ask the hard questions: what are you building, and why? Leaders without purpose make noise; we help students define their path.

๐Ÿ”

Integrity

We say what we mean, do what we say, and expect the same from participants โ€” in programs, in feedback, and in how they carry the NexGen name.

๐ŸŒ

Equity

Talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We bridge that gap for students in the Southern Suburbs.

๐Ÿค

Community

We are more than a program; we are a network where students and young professionals keep showing up for each other.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Excellence

We set high standards because we believe young people are capable of reaching them when support and accountability are in place.

๐Ÿงญ

Relatable Leadership

As a team of young professionals, we provide practical mentorship students can relate to, turning distant goals into real plans.
